Dr. Gargy Agnihotry is a recently graduated podiatric specialist and surgeon with deep roots in North Carolina. She completed her undergraduate studies at North Carolina Central University in Durham before earning her Doctorate of Podiatric Medicine from Barry University School of Podiatric Medicine in Miami, Florida. She then returned closer to home, completing her three-year residency in podiatric medicine and surgery at the Charlie Norwood Veterans Affairs Medical Center in Augusta, Georgia — a highly regarded training program where she honed advanced clinical and surgical skills treating a complex, medically diverse patient population.
Throughout her training, Dr. Agnihotry pursued continuing surgical education through The Podiatry Institute, completing coursework at the prestigious Footprints in the Sand: Challenging Cases and Current Treatment Options conference in Hilton Head, South Carolina, as well as a cadaver surgical skills course in Decatur, Georgia. She is certified by the National Board of Podiatric Medical Examiners (Parts I, II, and III) and holds current certifications in Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS), Basic Life Support (BLS), and Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS).

Dr. Agnihotry has a strong interest in both clinical and surgical foot and ankle care. Her areas of focus include diabetic foot and wound care, ingrown toenail management, orthotic casting, injections, and therapeutic treatments, as well as osseous and soft tissue surgical procedures. She is passionate about serving the greater Augusta community — including military veterans — and helping every patient take meaningful steps toward better foot health.
Her commitment to service extends well beyond the clinic. As an intern with the Tropical Pathology and Infectious Disease Association, Dr. Agnihotry participated in a medical mission to Iquitos, Peru, completing clinical rotations across three city hospitals and contributing to critical fieldwork including cholera sample collection and field blood draws. This early international experience deepened her appreciation for underserved communities and continues to shape her patient-first approach. Dr. Agnihotry is also fluent in English, Hindi, and Punjabi, allowing her to connect with and care for patients from a wide range of linguistic and cultural backgrounds.
Outside of the office, Dr. Agnihotry is an avid cook and baker. Inspired by her parents, who own a restaurant in North Carolina, she developed a lifelong passion for creating great food, and she just might have one of the best lasagna recipes around!
