Located in Eatonton, Georgia, 26 Foot and Ankle of Lake Oconee is in the Harmony Crossing Shopping Center just down from Mellow Mushroom and Two River’s Nutrition. This location is 10 miles south of I-20 (exit 130) on Lake Oconee Parkway and just 3 miles from Publix on HWY 44. 26 Foot and Ankle of Lake Oconee was established in 2024 to serve the surrounding Lake Oconee communities including Eatonton, Greensboro, and Milledgeville. This location offers general podiatry services such as bunion and hammertoe solutions, ingrown toenail procedures, and heel pain care. Dr. Christopher Menke has been serving the Lake country with specialized Foot and Ankle care since 2015 and patients in Georgia since 2008.

In addition to general podiatry services, this location offers many additional non-invasive and surgical alternative services. We carry a variety of foot and ankle retail products including a large supply of gel sleeves, compression socks, supportive inserts, and shoes. The Lake Oconee office is proud to offer professional shoe fitting for Brooks athletic shoes, including diabetic shoes. Merrell Work shoes including composite toe boots and slip resistant shoes, Oofos shock absorbing foam sandals, and Vionic casual shoes and sandals are also available at this location.

Regenerative medicine therapies such as Platelet Rich Plasma (PRP) Injections, Fat Pad Injections, and Laser therapy for painful foot and ankle conditions and toenail fungus are available in the office. For at-risk patients, we perform baseline vascular studies to evaluate blood flow to the feet. X-rays are taken on-site, and we have foot and ankle durable medical equipment (DME) including ankle braces, walking boots, and knee scooters in the event of acute foot and ankle injuries. For patients who have been unsuccessful in healing a foot or ankle wound or who cannot tolerate traditional wound care treatments due to pain, our mist ultrasound wound care treatment is a great option to consider.

Lastly, for those patients who do not respond to conservative care and non-invasive therapies, we offer surgical options for a variety of conditions. Dr. Menke is double board certified in forefoot and rearfoot reconstructive surgery and is proficient in elective, reconstructive, and trauma foot and ankle surgery. Minor procedures are performed in office, while more involved surgeries are currently performed locally at St. Mary’s Good Samaritan Hospital in Greensboro and Morgan Medical in Madison.
